Trusting God through Trouble

Trust is to allow someone to do something without fearing the outcome.

Sometimes God will take us through a storm for His divine purpose.

Always look for God in the way things are.

Trusting God will not take your troubles away, but will give you  new perspective.

Nahum 1:3 (NKJV)

“We do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NIV)

“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you.” Ephesians 1:18 (NIV)

“We are: hard pressed on every side, but not crushed;
perplexed, but not in despair;
persecuted, but not abandoned;
struck down, but not destroyed.”
2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NIV)

How faith sees it

Science is collection of information and attempting to understand the universe through this process.

However, our understanding of the universe is limited by our ability to collect enough data,the perspective we use to view it, and ultimately process it.

To understand the universe, we must view it from the perspective of He who made it to truly understand it.

As compared to science, faith is accepting what an all-knowing and all-loving God says about the universe as true, and adjusting our lives accordingly.

(NIV) Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

The Space between our Prayers and Praise

 What do we do while we wait for our prayers to be answered?   In Daniel 10:11-13,  Daniel's prayer was answered the first day he prayed...
